Did the Vikings deserve their violent reputation?
I think the Vikings did deserve their violent reputation because they were extremely violent people. Here are some reasons why:
They killed lots of people, they robbed people, they invaded and many other violent things.
They were peaceful farmers, they got on with their lives once they had settled and it the monks that attacked them, not them attacking the monks.
Even though they were peaceful farmers, excellent builders, amazing sailors they were incredibly violent people. The definition of a Viking would be a huge tribe ready to fight. Why would they do this? Because they were incredibly violent. Even though the farmland was poor, their were so many floods and not enough crops to live, that wouldn’t mean they could come and invade uninvited. The Berserkers were the Viking soldiers, and they really deserve their violent reputation. they were the most violent of the era.
In conclusion, the Vikings did deserve their violent reputation.

sheesh Teresa even your blog is violent
Great blog Teresa. And I agree. Just because they were living in poor conditions it did not mean they had to carry out such a brutal invasion.
