Introduction

In my opinion Vikings are not violent….Read on to find out why!

Reasons

My first reason is that Vikings are mostly farmers and when people attack them they need to protect them selves from the dangerous people so they have to kill them. Vikings are normal people and they need to raid lands and kill animals to survive. The monks are the ones who attacked the Vikings, and not the other way round.

Conclusion

After doing a  research I found out that the Vikings deserve there voilent reputation because they killed people and burned villages.

Do the vikings deserve their violent reputation?

I think the Vikings do and don’t deserve their violent reputation for the following reasons.

Firstly, they do deserve their violent reputation because they killed a lot of people. Secondly, they do not deserve their violent reputation because most of them are farmers.Lots of farmers kill animals but they aren’t humans.

I think that the Vikings do deserve their violent reputation for the following  reasons….

Firstly,  they were invaders and they killed lots of people.  Secondly, they stole from lots of people and they did not do it very politely. They used dragon heads on the prow of their long boats to scare their enemies.

Did the vikings deserve their violent reputation?

I think that the vikings both did and did not deserve their violent reputation because of the following reasons…

My reason of why the vikings deserve their violent reputation is that they killed people. They attacked the poor monks. They vikings did not care if the monks were alive or not.

My reason of why the vikings didn’t deserve their violent reputation is that most of them were farmers and only the beserkers were violent. They had to survive.

Did the Vikings deserve their violent reputation?

think the Vikings did deserve their violent reputation because they were extremely violent people. Here are some reasons why:

They killed lots of people, they robbed people, they invaded and many other violent things.

They were peaceful farmers, they got on with their lives once they had settled and it the monks that attacked them, not them attacking the monks.

Even though they were peaceful farmers, excellent builders, amazing sailors they were incredibly violent people. The definition of a Viking would be a huge tribe ready to fight. Why would they do this? Because they were incredibly violent. Even though the farmland was poor, their were so many floods and not enough crops to live, that wouldn’t mean they could come and invade uninvited. The Berserkers were the Viking soldiers, and they really deserve their violent reputation. they were the most violent of the era.

In conclusion, the Vikings did deserve their violent reputation.

Were The Vikings Actually Violent Luke

Introduction

I think the vikings weren’t violent… Read it if you want to know why!

Reasons

My first reason is that they lived in Scandinavia where food was hard to get, so they had to leave their country to raid Christian monasteries in Britain for gold, food and other supplies essential for surviving.

In addition to hunger, the vikings were clever and invented the days of the week using their Norse gods, developed their own language, the old Norse language and invented words we still use today like die, ugly, skull and even cake! (when I found this out, I  was surprised)

As well as all the other reasons listed, the vikings always had a reason to ‘attack’ such as a raid but where we get the idea of killing monks is from  self defence. Also, Britain was across one sea so it was easy to sail too from Scandinavia.

Last but not least is the Berserkers they were a tribe of vikings who were always violent but they always had a reason for it .

Do you think the vikings deserve their violent reputation?

I think they do and don’t.Listen to my reasons…

I think they do deserve their violent
reputation  because they steal money from Britain.I  think because they take food away. The vikings were violent because they came to Britain and destroyed it.
